Nizakana Soy Sauce

We developed Nizakana Soy Sauce to easily create a perfect Nizakana (Japanese home-style simmered fish) at home.

Ingredients (2 Servings)

2 (about 200g) flounder fillets
100g spinach
5g ginger, shredded

40ml Nizakana Soy Sauce
160ml water
Salt (for boiling spinach), as needed

Directions

Pat the flounder dry with a paper towel.

Boil spinach in the salted water. Drain and rinse under cold running water, then squeeze out excess liquid.

Bring (A) to a boil in a pot. Add (1), cover and simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat.

Serve on a plate. Arrange shredded ginger on top and spinach on the side.
