Dashi Chuno Sauce 200㎖

This is a mild fragrant sauce of bonito with the savory umami of broth.

Ingredients (2 servings)

2 servings cooked rice
100g chopped onion
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
2 tbsp milk
A
200g ground beef
1/2 beaten egg
Salt, small amount
Black pepper, small amount
2 eggs
Torn red leaf lettuce or any lettuce of your choice, as needed
Sliced avocado, as needed
Halved cherry tomatoes, as needed
Dashi Chuno Sauce, as needed
Vegetable oil, as needed

Directions

Heat the oil in a pan. Stir-fry chopped onion until soft, then remove from the heat.

Soak breadcrumbs in milk

Knead together (1), (2) and (A) in a bowl. Divide into 2 portions for large patties.

Heat the oil in a pan. Cook patties until browned on the bottom. Flip it over and reduce heat to low. Cover and steam fry until the juice runs clear. Use a fork or skewer to pierce the meat.

Make two fried eggs in another pan.

Serve rice in two bowls. Top with red leaf lettuce, patties, avocado, tomatoes and fried egg. Pour Dashi Chuno Sauce.
