Usukuchi Soy Sauce
Usukuchi Soy Sauce is perfected with fermented and matured moromi and amazake made from malted rice. This soy sauce accentuates ingredients' original color, umami and fragrance.
Cut chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Remove stems of the shiitake mushrooms and slice thinly.
Put Usukuchi Soy Sauce, rice, chicken, carrots and shiitake mushrooms in the rice cooker. Add appropriate amount of water (check the ratio on your rice cooker manual). Cook the rice using the “Plain” or “Mixed rice” setting.
